The ENVI-PAK system
The ENVI-PAK system started its operation in the Slovak Republic in 2003. This makes it the most mature and experienced system in Slovakia.
The ENVI-PAK system operates based on the principle of cooperation of all stakeholders involved in the packaging waste material flow: from those introducing packed products in the market, municipalities responsible for the implementation of separate waste collection in their territory, collection companies that ensure waste collection and separation, and waste processing companies manufacturing their products from separated secondary raw materials.
The ENVI-PAK system is associated in the Pan-European PRO EUROPE association of authorized organizations, from which it draws international know-how that is implemented in Slovakia. Authorized organizations in other countries, mainly in Western Europe, have been operating packaging waste collection, recovery and recycling systems for many years, and are therefore a source of best practices to be implemented in Slovakia as they have been tested and proven right in Western European countries with a long standing tradition of packaging waste management.
ENVI-PAK is a transparent system open to all stakeholders involved in the packaging waste material flow.
A priority of the ENVI-PAK system is continual efficiency enhancement of the collection, recovery and recycling system and cost cutting efforts.
The operation of the ENVI-PAK system has been repeatedly successfully audited by the Slovak Environmental Inspectorate, which is a guarantee to our Clients of continued compliance with their binding packaging waste collection, recovery and recycling limits as well as of compliance with their other statutory duties under the Packaging Act.
