The GREEN DOT is a registered trademark.

The placement of the GREEN DOT trademark on product packaging indicates that the producer participates in the development of the GREEN DOT system, which is the most wide-spread system to ensure secondary raw materials recovery from waste in Europe. Enterprises entitled to use the GREEN DOT trademark and to place it on their product packaging declare in this way their positive environmental attitude and participation in the GREEN DOT system.

The GREEN DOT is a way to ensure sustainable development. The GREEN DOT registered trademark may be used in a different territory (i.e. country) subject to approval from the company that is authorized to license the use of the GREEN DOT registered trademark within such other territory by virtue of a license contract with PRO EUROPE. In case that your Company exports goods in packaging with the GREEN DOT registered trademark on it, you must obtain information about the conditions to use it in such other territory where you introduce your products in the market. 

Example: If your Company imports packaging or packed products with the GREEN DOT registered trademark on it into a Member State or a third country and if PRO EUROPE is authorized in such a country, your Company must have an approval to introduce its products with the GREEN DOT registered trademark on it from the company that is authorized to license the use of the GREEN DOT registered trademark within such other territory by virtue of a license contract with PRO EUROPE.

No company is authorized to license the use of the GREEN DOT registered trademark for the entire territory of the EU.

The GREEN DOT registered trademark may be used subject to compliance with special rules.

Clients of ENVI-PAK. have been granted a license to use the GREEN DOT registered trademark on the packaging of their products. Subject to compliance with special rules, the colors of the GREEN DOT pictorial trademark image can be changed.

In May 2003 PRO EUROPE granted ENVI-PAK with a license to use the GREEN DOT registered pictorial trademark in Slovakia.

The GREEN DOT registered trademark may be used in Slovakia by companies who enter into a license agreement with ENVI-PAK.
